High school football star has rape charge dismissed after accuser contacts him on Facebook to say it never happened
As sad as this story is, I can’t say I’m surprised. This story happens over and over again and nothing ever changes. There is no justice for black men. I’ve seen and experienced how the justice system turns the blind eye, or doesn’t help out when black men are involved. This case happened to make national news because Brian Banks was destined for stardom, but shit like this happens all the time. I’m happy he got some justice I guess but how do you repay someone for six years in prison and a tarnished name.
I would like to end this post in some type of hopeful “lets make a change” fashion, but i’ll b honest in saying im outta ideas and not very hopeful. Figured I’d just vent a lil.
